Pop music

Film music is the majority of music consumed today. For students who wish to, this is a great way to expand your technique and understanding of music as an ancillary supplement to repertoire.

Playing Jazz is a great way to improve on rhythm and improvisation. It also teaches students to express themselves creatively by drawing on all the musical elements they have learnt.

Substituting other instruments for Pop music and drawing on performative techniques to create an original approach to the music is a great learning experience. This allows every musician to stay current with trends.
